HYPNOSIS EVENTS – Terms & Conditions

Prior to any event that is booked with Hypnosis Events, the client must sign a booking form in which they agree to Hypnosis Events Terms & Conditions. A copy of these Terms & Conditions can be found below.

Stripe Payments

Payment in full is due no later than 1 days prior to the event date. This may be made via credit card (fee may be charged by your bank). The company reserves the right to cancel the event if payment has not been received in full.

Hypnosis Events LTD uses the 3rd party payment platform, Stripe, the Stripe API, and in conjunction, your Stripe account to process credit and debit card transactions.

By using the Stripe Check Out you agree to be bound by Stripe’s Terms of Service.

You expressly understand and agree that Hypnosis Events LTD shall not be liable for any payments and monetary transactions that occur through Your use of the Service. You expressly understand and agree that all payments and monetary transactions are handled by Stripe. You agree that Hypnosis Events LTD shall not be liable for any issues regarding financial and monetary transactions between You and any other party, including Stripe.

You are responsible for all transactions (one-time, recurring, and refunds) processed through the Service and/or Stripe. Hypnosis Events LTD is not liable for loss or damage from errant or invalid transactions processed with Your Stripe account. This includes transactions that were not processed due to a network communication error, or any other reason. If You process a transaction, it is Your responsibility to verify that the transaction was successfully processed.

You understand that Hypnosis Events LTD uses the Stripe API to run the Service and that the Stripe API is subject to change at any time and such changes may adversely affect the Service. You understand and agree to not hold Hypnosis Events LTD liable for any adverse affects that actions (whether intentional or unintentional) on the part of Stripe may cause to Your Stripe account, or Your business.

You must not process stolen credit cards, or unauthorised credit cards through Stripe.


All transaction information passed between Hypnosis Events LTD and Stripe’s systems is encrypted using 256-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted. You can be completely assured that nothing we pass to Stripe’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.


The company will cover event management and public liability insurance of £5,000,000.

VIP Facebook Competition May 2019 Tall Trees Event

There are 4x VIP upgrades available for one winner and their 3 friends for the May 2019 Tall Trees Event. The prize includes: Priority Entry, VIP Seating, 2 bottles of Moet, Waitress Service and to be on our VIP list of first refusal for future events earlybird tier tickets as well as the first to receive details of future VIP promotions. The winner will be chosen at random from the list of tickets purchased and cross referenced with the liking, sharing and tagging on Facebook. Winners will have 14 days from the date the communication is sent to respond and claim their prize, after which time a re-draw will take place and the prize will be allocated to a new winner. We will announce the winner on Facebook on the 27th April 2019 2 weeks before the event or earlier if the event sells out. The company reserve the right to change details of the offer at any time.

Drugs and Alcohol

The company may refuse participation to guests who are believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. No refund will be made in such circumstances.

Company Authority

The customer recognises the authority of the company’s Event manager and Skippers, understanding that they may take any decision they regard as necessary to ensure the health, welfare and safety of those taking part in the event.

Changing Dates

Every effort will be made to change the event date when requested, although the company reserves the right to charge 10% of the event value. The charge may be higher when it has not been possible to cancel subcontractors or venues. No change may be made within 30 days of the event.


Whether or not payment has been made, if the customer cancels there is a 100% cancellation fee unless agreed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Change in number of attendees

A reduction in the number of attendees does not usually result in a refund and never within 30 days of the event. If numbers are reduced more than 30 days before the event, then every effort will be made to save variable costs such as catering etc.

Force Majeure

The company may postpone the event where forces outside of the company’s control such as bad weather, acts of terrorism or other events which cannot be reasonably mitigated against, impact the running of the event. No liability for any costs or expenses incurred by the customer are accepted by the company in the event of cancellation or postponement.


When rain is forecast, the company will use extra marquees, move activities indoors where possible and issue complimentary ‘rapmacs’. The event will take place unless it is deemed unsafe to do so by the Event Manager, and if this is the case, an alternative date will be arranged.

Inflatable Events

It is unsafe to operate ‘Inflatable’ events in the rain. The company will use a Met Office forecast 48 hours prior to the event to determine whether the event should proceed. If continuous rain is forecast, then the customer will be offered the opportunity to postpone to a mutually convenient date or a refund. The company accepts no liability for consequential losses incurred by the customer such as hotels and flights in the event of postponement or cancellation.

Liability for Damage

The customer is liable for loss or damage caused by guests whilst on the event to boats, vehicles, clothing or other equipment supplied by the company but limited to the amount of the company’s insurance excess.


The company retains rights to images taken on behalf of the customer. Where the customer has paid for photography, the company gives the customer permission to use such images freely. The customer gives the company permission to use images or video taken during the event in company marketing and advertising materials.

English Law

This agreement is subject to English law.
